"A Lot Of News Over The Last 72 Hours But None Having A Dramatic Effect On Trading"

Markets seem more concerned about missing the upside associated w/a final tax deal than they are about being caught long on a tax disappointment, thus for the time being headlines such as “Trump and Ryan discuss taxes” or “tax plan makes progress in Washington” will help to buoy stocks more than “Trump has neither a clear WH tax plan nor adequate staff yet to see through a planned tax reform” will hurt them.

Breslow: "The Pain Trades Are Giving Traders Headaches"

The Fed has been hiking. Their speeches have been consistently optimistic on the traction that’s been achieved toward reaching their mandate. And more, rather than less, portraying a board on the same page. Yet the pain trade keeps traders reacting much more to any perceived dovishness.

Europe: Combating Fake News

If present demographic trends continue, in a few decades, native Swedes could easily become a minority in their own country. Swedish ambulance personnel want gas masks and bulletproof vests to protect their staff against the escalating attacks, similar to equipment used by staff working in war zones. Most dangerous, however, is our inability to deal forcefully with problems undermining Western societies, because some Western media refuse to admit that the problems exist.

Trump Administration Backs Geoengineering, Full Disclosure Of The Climate Engineering Atrocities Grows Near

by Dane Wigington, GEO Enginerring Watch:
The ongoing global geoengineering assault has long since inflicted catastrophic and irreparable damage to the biosphere, climate, and life support systems of our planet (along with countless other forms of anthropogenic activity). It is truly incomprehensible that such blatantly obvious “climate intervention” programs can be carried out in skies all over the world, in plain site (for over 70 years), and still be officially denied.

Soros’ Meddling in EU Affairs has Put Him in Harm’s Way

by Grete Mautner, New Eastern Outlook:
The name of George Soros in recent decades has been repeatedly mentioned in connection with different mass movements around the globe that frequently resulted in some form of coup d’etat. Unsurprisingly, there’s been a lot of accusations going his way both across the globe and in the US, so it is hardly a coincidence that his name was mentioned by Gateway Pundit when the so-called “women’s marches” against President Donald Trump were on the rise in the US.
George Soros has also been known for his ongoing attempts to get richer by bleeding the truly unlimited financial capabilities of the Vatican dry. The war between Soros and the Pope is being waged on all sorts of legal field, after its initial start in 2011 in the United States, before it started spreading across the world. Soros elected the Jeff Anderson and Associates law firm as his tool, even though this firm is known for its connections with the former US President Barack Obama. To achieve its goals, Soros used claims of sexual harassment and abuse voiced against the priests of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). Thus, Jeff Anderson and Associates filed demands to various courts across the world to criminally prosecute certain priests of the RCC. This struggle was accompanied by massive media campaigns that Soros launched and financed. Caught off guard, the church decided to yield and started paying settlements, the total worth of which amounted to some 2.5 billion dollars in the US alone. Thus, Soros achieved two goals: he dealt a powerful blow to the Pope and simultaneously earned some extra cash.

What Is America Going To Look Like When Stocks, Home Prices And Even Used Cars All Crash By At Least 50 Percent?

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:
Have you ever thought about what comes after the bubble? In 2008 we got a short preview of what life will be like, but most Americans seem to have come to the conclusion that the last financial crisis was just a minor bump in the road toward endless economic prosperity. But of course the truth is that the ridiculously high debt-fueled standard of living that we are enjoying now is not sustainable, and after this bubble bursts it will be an extremely painful adjustment for our society.

Don’t Look at Us. Gold Did It!

by Turd Ferguson, TF Metals Report:
Some of you clearly recall the year 1969 where Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge with a woman in his car. (No, this article really is not about politics, but describes how the media shapes the public’s thoughts and views). Accounts of the Chappaquiddick event paint a sordid picture. It was clear to anyone that Kennedy was partying with single women while his wife was absent, drinking, flirting and left the party with a woman for reasons that evidence suggests were not altogether innocent. It was likely he was drunk. It was likely that he was speeding away from the sheriffs’ deputy who saw the car parked by a cemetery a few minutes earlier and came over to ask if they needed help. His actions—driving off a bridge—caused her death. But somehow, he managed to hold onto his office. He sidestepped punishment, stayed in office, and got away with a heinous crime.

Is the Russian Government Insouciant?

by Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Craig Roberts:
On March 1 the US National Reconnaissance Office launched a spy satellite carried by an Atlas V rocket that was powered by a Russian RD-180 engine. http://www.counterpunch.org/2017/03/31/the-beneficiaries-of-conflict-with-russia/
The Unites States, an alleged “superpower,” is not capable of putting its own spy satellites into space. The “superpower” is dependent on Russia, which provides the “superpower” with the rocket engines to put up spy satellites to spy on Russia!!! http://www.foxnews.com/science/2014/07/17/us-too-dependent-on-russian-rocket-engines-experts-tell-lawmakers.html

This Economy is Ruined for Many Americans

by Wolf Richter, Wolf Street:
Those who lost out on the Fed’s “wealth effect.”
Here’s a mystery: Has this “wealth-effect” economy that the Fed so beautifully engineered since the Financial Crisis gotten a lot riskier, scarier, and uglier in some profound ways for lower-income Americans, those making $30,000 or less a year?
One of the questions that Gallup posed was this:
Next, I’m going to read a list of problems facing the country. For each one, please tell me if you personally worry about this problem a great deal, a fair amount, only a little, or not at all? First, how much do you personally worry about –
